  • Joe Gauci

Joe is the owner and founder of Profab Motorsport Fabrications. A highly qualified tradesman, Joe holds certifications as a fitter and machinist, automotive mechanic, pressure welder, and body maker.

Driven by a lifelong passion for cars and a relentless pursuit of innovation, Joe established Profab Motorsport Fabrications in 2003. His deep involvement in automotive performance began at just 18 years old, particularly within the drag racing scene. It all started in 1986 with his Ford TD Cortina — a car he raced and continually developed over the years.

With decades of hands-on experience and a strong foundation in precision engineering, Joe leads the Profab Motorsport Fabrications team with a commitment to quality, performance, and pushing the limits of motorsport fabrication.

  • Jonathan Gauci

With over 13 years of hands-on experience at Profab Motorsport Fabrications, Jonathan is a highly skilled metal fabricator, automotive mechanic, and auto electrician. His journey began as an apprentice at Profab Motorsport Fabrications, where he quickly established himself as a key contributor to numerous high-level race and street car builds — many of which have gone on to win championships and major race events.

Motorsport has been a lifelong passion for Jonathan. Growing up, he spent weekends at the track watching his dad race a Ford TD Cortina, and later joined the crew to support him. This early exposure sparked a deep love for the industry and laid the foundation for the career he has built today.

Currently, Jonathan is working towards racing his own Ford TD Cortina, which he has equipped with a single-turbo 7.3L Godzilla engine — a testament to his dedication and technical expertise.

While he is passionate about his personal projects, Jonathan finds the greatest reward in seeing customers succeed on the track. Watching their hard work come to life — and their pride in those achievements — is what drives him most in this profession.

  • Nicholas Poriotis

Nicholas first joined Profab Motorsport Fabrications in 2008, completing his apprenticeship and building a solid foundation in motorsport fabrication and mechanical work. After gaining further hands-on experience as a pit crew member for Joe’s Ford TD Cortina over four years, Nicholas' passion for motorsport only grew stronger.

From a young age, Nicholas was immersed in the world of cars, learning early mechanical skills from his dad — everything from suspension setups to routine servicing. That passion quickly turned into a career. At age 18, he bought his first car, a Ford Capri, and later went on to rebuild the engine in his Nissan Silvia S14 — just a couple of examples of his dedication to performance and precision.

Nicholas returned to Profab Motorsport Fabrications in 2021. Since then, he has been involved in a wide range of standout customer builds and continues to build strong, lasting relationships with clients. With decades of experience and a genuine love for the craft, Nicholas brings skill, care, and enthusiasm to everything he works on.

  • Patrick Murray

Patrick is the newest member of the Profab Motorsport Fabrications team and is currently completing his fitter and machinist apprenticeship. He is gaining practical skills in areas such as fault diagnosis, mechanical tasks, and using hand and machine tools, while also developing a strong understanding of the theory behind these skills.

With a long-standing passion for motorsport, Patrick is excited to be part of the industry and looks forward to working on some incredible cars. His favourite car is the Fox-Body Ford Mustang.
