Race Weekend Recap

What a weekend!

We hit the track at the Gulf Western Oil Nitro Champs at Sydney Dragway, and it did not all come easy … our first two qualifying runs had us chasing a baseline. But that is racing — regroup, reset, and come back stronger.

Race day, we had a plan.

Round 1 saw us line up against #1 qualifier Rob Campisi — a killer side-by-side run, and we got the win with a 5.89 @ 241 MPH.

Round 2 was Turbo vs Blown against Craig Hewitt — another epic matchup. We came away with the win again, laying down a 5.86 @ 256 MPH. Low ET of the event and knocking right on the door of that 5.85 index! 

Into the final — Turbo vs Nitrous against Barry Plumpton. A tough race and a great battle, but we finished up runners-up with Barry taking the win. Massive respect, he is a top competitor.

All in all, a solid weekend and great to finally string together some consistent passes!
