There are moments in motorsport that become part of history, and this is one of them.
A massive congratulations to Paul Merry and the entire team on setting a new Australian Quarter Mile Radial Record, stopping the clocks at an incredible 5.63 seconds at 229 MPH.
Breaking records is never easy. It takes countless hours in the workshop, late nights, relentless testing, and an entire team committed to chasing perfection. Every component, every adjustment, and every decision plays a part when you are aiming to go faster than anyone else has before.
To see all of that hard work rewarded with a new Australian record is something truly special.
At Profab Motorsport Fabrications, we are incredibly proud to have played a part in this achievement. From the fabrication and engineering behind the car to working alongside an outstanding group of people, it is moments like these that remind us why we love what we do.
A 5.63-second pass at 229 MPH is not just a number — it represents the dedication, innovation, and determination of everyone involved. It also raises the bar for radial racing in Australia and shows just how competitive the category has become.
Congratulations to Paul, the crew, and everyone who contributed to this milestone. Records are made to be broken, but this one is a testament to what can be achieved when talent, teamwork, and hard work come together.
We are excited to see what comes next — but for now, we will enjoy celebrating a moment that will go down in Australian drag racing history.
