What a weekend!

After three qualifying sessions, our best pass was a solid 6.00 at 229mph. Throughout qualifying, we continued making gains on the front half of the track, working hard to improve our incrementals and find the performance we were chasing. Joe was also continuing to adapt to the Willowbank Raceway finish line, getting comfortable with timing the parachute deployment.

The team put in a huge effort on Saturday night, making several changes ahead of race day, and those adjustments paid off.

In the opening round of eliminations against Neil Murphy, Joe drove the ProMod to a winning 5.96 at 207mph, with the chutes deployed early at the 1000-foot mark.

Round 2 saw us line up against Zoran Gajic. Unfortunately, a fault with the transbrake solenoid prevented the car from reversing back after Joe's burnout, ending our weekend earlier than we had hoped.

While it was not the result we were hoping for, there were plenty of positives to take away from the weekend, and we will use what we learned to come back even stronger.

Next up, we will be back at Willowbank Raceway for the Garrett Brisbane Jamboree, taking place from 7–9 August. We are looking forward to getting back on track and chasing some more fast passes.
