BRISBANE JAMBOREE 2026 — WRAP UP
Share
What a weekend! The Brisbane Jamboree was full of ups, downs, plenty of laughs, great food and even better memories with our mates at Team PST.
We took on the Pro Mod field with two cars — Paul Merry’s Nova and Joe Gauci’s Mustang — and it certainly was not an easy weekend for the team.
Paul’s Nova showed incredible potential during testing, running consistent low 3.80s to the half track and looking like it was shaping up to be a strong contender. Unfortunately, a gearbox failure on the first qualifying pass Friday night brought Paul’s weekend to an early end.
It did, however, give us our first-ever Rivals Night showdown between Paul and Joe!
Radial 1 — Slick 0! Paul took the win in a close 5.9-second race.
Joe’s Mustang battled tyre shake throughout the weekend, throwing plenty at the team. But as always, the boys stuck together, kept pushing through the tough moments and continued chipping away at chassis adjustments and engine management changes.
After a difficult couple of days, making it to the Pro Mod final was a win in itself.
We managed to fight our way through a tough weekend and come away with Runner Up in Pro Mod!
A massive congratulations to John Ricca and the RPM Camaro team on taking out the Pro Mod win! Well deserved!
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who continues to support us — our sponsors, supporters, family, friends and everyone behind the scenes. Your backing through the good times AND the hard times means more than you know.
A huge thank you to Collin Willshire, the Jamboree crew and Willowbank Raceway for putting on another awesome event! We appreciate all the hard work that goes into making these weekends happen.
We will take the lessons, the memories and the Runner Up trophy and keep moving forward.
Bring on the next one!
